I’m a mom – here’s how to get your kids half-price school shoes and trainers from Clarks, Kickers and Sketchers
SEPTEMBER can be an expensive time for parents shopping for items for their kids heading back to school.
But one mom loved taking her kids to Deichmann because you can walk in and get Clarks, Kickers and Sketchers shoes for half price.
Emma Gill told Manchester Evening News she took her children to the Arndale branch of Deichmann before they resumed lessons.
She said: ‘There’s actually a huge selection of school shoes to choose from – with its own cheaper brands such as Graceland and Memphis One and well-known brands like Start Rite and Hush Puppies.
“He also recently added Clarks to his catalog and now sells a small range of Kickers, which has been a hit with buyers.”
She added that their annual back-to-school offer means that for every pair of shoes you buy, you get a second half of the price.
The offer includes brands such as Nike, adidas, Puma and Sketches, so you can also buy PE shoes.
She continued: “After much debate – I told you there was a wide choice – mine opted for Deichmann’s own brands of school shoes, my daughter chose a pair of Graceland buckle shoes for £24.99 and my son opted for black Chunky Memphis Ones. lace-up shoes from the ‘teens’ section, costing £19.99.
She said not all trainers were in the deal, but her son got Nike Revolution trainers for £47.99, while her daughter got Nike Air Max shoes for £44.99.
Emma said the best part about the “buy one, get one half off” offer is that it doesn’t mean the cheapest item will be free.
She said Deichmann staff put her shoes in the crate “to make it more fair to the customer.”
Emma bought a pair of school shoes at half price and a pair of sneakers at half price.
This means his final total fell from £139.95 to £107.45 and saved him £32.50.
