Skechers tops hiring rankings for apparel supply chain
Skechers topped GlobalData’s hiring rankings for apparel supply chain jobs, in the three months to the end of March 2022, announcing an average of 648 new jobs per month during that period.
That equates to 105 new positions per 1,000 employees at the U.S.-based company, the highest rate among the 16 major apparel supply chain companies tracked by the Jobs Analytics Database. GlobalData. For the purposes of this analysis, a large business is defined as a business with more than 1,000 employees. Included are those for which GlobalData has complete figures.
Skechers’ hiring rate has actually declined over the past three months compared to the previous three months, with an average of 654 new jobs posted in the three months to and including December 2022.
Moncler came in second, based on the rate per employee measure, with 34 new job openings per 1,000 employees in the three months to the end of March 2022. Levi Strauss was in third place.

Ignoring company size, LVMH topped the charts for the total number of job vacancies posted in the last quarter, with VF in second and Skechers in third.
